Temporary rule change.

With regards to the Temporary Rule Change there have been a number of situations which have occurred causing confusion in addition to ill feeling. The main problem has been when a team has been short of players the team with a full complement has refused to select players to play again and claimed 21 – 0 for each player missing. The League Committee has discussed this resulting in the decision that if a team refuses to select a player(s) they CANNOT claim the games 21 – 0. and no points will be awarded for the absent players. It has also been suggested by the Committee that if a team are short of players four cards should be placed face downwards for the team with a full complement to select the players to play again. The full ramifications of this rule will be discussed in full at the next AGM.
