There have been a number of discussion lately amongst teams in the Thursday League regarding players playing twice. The rule is very simple and is outlined in full below.
The Captain of the team who are players short must inform the opposing Captain at the start of the match that they are or likely to be players short. The Captain of the team with a full squad of players can select a maximum of two players from the opponents team who have played in the first 5 blocks to play again. If for various reasons the players who have played in the first five blocks are not available to play again, then the team with players short will lose each non contested game 21-0. If the team with players short are at home then the player drawn to play again will give the opposing player a five point start. If away, any player redrawn will give the opposing player a three point start. This rule will not apply in Cup Matches.
